Tyler
Tyler graduated from Family of Faith 2006, Seminole State College 2008 with an Associates in Science, and attended OBU. At the beginning of his senior year in college majoring in pre-med Tyler said he had news. He wanted to join the Air Force. Tyler joined and entered basic training August 2009.  He said this would be a great way to pay for med school. After joining he realized how much more he would gain than paid tuition.
Tyler is stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. He is apart of the 341st SFG/TRF Squadron. His position is with the Tactical Response Force Team.  The squad team response to Nuclear Convoys. He is currently training for paramedic rescue in order to apply for Para Rescuer, his dream job.
Please keep Tyler and the other men and women serving our great country in your prayers.

Tyler on the far left and far right.

Tyler had always been that kid who was the first in line to try anything.  The more daring the better.  From the moment I had Tyler I would tell him God had a special purpose for his life. I just didn't realize how much I would have to pray through it.

Thank you Marta for your support.

Pete Bonicelli Jr

Pete Bonicelli Jr., an electrician at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, and a former Shawnee resident, is working in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Bonicelli travels throughout Iraq, usually in Army Blackhawk helicopters, as an electrical inspector and works with electrical contractors, correcting wiring discrepancies and making electrical repairs at Army Materiel Command facilities.

He is a morale booster of Army units located in isolated parts of Iraq, especially if the unit has been without water, flushing toilets and showers for several days. In appreciation from one unit, Bonicelli received a commander's coin for his spirit raising repairs. He states how proud of it he is and he carries the coin everywhere he goes. Although he misses his wife, Julie, and his daughters, Ashlee and Alex, they understand and are proud of his service there.

He is enjoying his deployment, meeting and working with "fantastic" people, working 12 hours a day, seven days a week and also "eating great food." Bonicelli is grateful and said tour in Iraq is the "most rewarding experience of my life."

He feels honored and privileged to serve his country.
